Registration

The registration for the International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (IEEE SMC 2022) will be handled by Ms. Milena Zeithamlová, a conference organizer authorized by the IEEE SMC.

To register, you are kindly asked to complete REGISTRATION FORM (will be opened ASAP) and pay the registration fee.

Registering early will save you money, and also it will help us to organize things better!

The deadline for early registration is July 29, 2022 and the late registration deadline is October 4, 2022.

Student Registration Fee covers:

A copy of a valid student card or a student confirmation (in English) can be requested by organizers upon the arrival at the registration desk. Student ID number (number of the valid Student card) will be required already during the registration process.

Half Day Tutorial/Workshop Registration Fee includes:

  • the admission to all tutorial/workshop sessions on Sunday October 9, 2022 only
  • not applicable for BMI Workshop attendees
  • no publication of paper proceedings
  • presentation of 1 contribution
  • welcome cocktail on Sunday October 9, 2022
  • coffee break

Each full or student registration includes publication of papers containing up to 6 pages in length, in the conference proceedings. 1 or 2 more extra pages are allowed with the payment of extra page fee.

An extra paper (2nd paper) per author with full registration is allowed. It requires an additional payment.

For each accepted paper, at least one author should pay registration fee to be included in the conference proceedings and program.

Students can order conference reception ticket, which is not included in student fee.
Participants are welcome to register an accompanying persons to attend the welcome cocktail and conference reception. He or she will not have the access to sessions or tutorial/workshop sessions during the conference.

Members of IEEE SMC 2022 Committee, Workshop/Tutorial chairs and Keynote Speakers are exempt from paying the registration fee unless they are authors having accepted papers for the conference.

Workshop/tutorial organizers attending only tutorial/workshop day (Sunday October 9) are exempted from paying the tutorial/workshop registration fee.

All fees will be charged in Czech Crowns (CZK) and include VAT.

If you have any difficulties in sending the payment in CZK (Czech Crowns) by bank transfer, please contact registration chair.

Please indicate your name as payment description/identification. Please make sure that the bank transfer is net of all bank charges and commissions made. Remaining charges will be requested upon your arrival when registering.

Confirmation / Proforma Invoice / Invoice

Once you have completed the online REGISTRATION FORM you will receive the email confirmation.
In the case of

  • credit card payment, the proforma invoice corresponding to your payment (pdf document) will be attached to the confirmation email. Confirmation email contents very important information including the status of your card payment. After your successful payment authorization, you will receive immediately a final invoice. (If the card payment is declined by the authorization centre, just clink on the link of payment status and fill the card detais again or use another card).
  • bank transfer, the proforma invoice corresponding to your payment (pdf document) will be attached to the confirmation email. The final invoice will be issued upon the receipt of the payment on our account and sent attached to the confirming email.

Cancellation Policy & Refund

All refund requests must be made in writing by email to the IEEE SMC 2022 registration chair.

  • no refund for registered authors uploaded a final paper to the conference
  • if a cancellation of other fees is made before August 31, 2022 the registration fee reduced by CZK 4 000 will be refunded
  • after September 1, 2022, however, no fees can be refunded
  • all refunds will be processed after the conference

If you cannot attend, your registration is transferable to another participant (the same type of registration fee). Please inform registration chair at as soon as possible, but not later than September 16, 2022 to whom your registration should be transferred to.

Invitation Letter & Questions?

If you need a Letter of Invitation to obtain a visa, Ms. Milena Zeithamlova - registration chair - will send you such a letter upon request, once you have registered for the conference and paid the registration fee.
